  • PJSC "Kyivenergo"

The purpose of the feasibility study was to determine the optimal solution, the efficient organization and feasibility of the construction and operation of a biomass energy source at an object under the management of KYIVENERGO.

The following scenarios for building a biomass energy source during the study were analyzed:

  1. Thermal power plant with a heat output of 35 MW in a wood chip (one power unit);
  2. Thermal power plant with a thermal capacity of 35 MW on a wood chip (two power units with a heat capacity of 15−20 MW each, successive construction and commissioning of units);
  3. Thermal power station with a heat output of 35 MW on straw pellets;
  4. Thermal power station with a heat output of 35 MW on straw pellets (two power units with a heat capacity of 15−20 MW each; successive construction and commissioning of units);
  5. Hot water boiler house (DHW) with a capacity of 35 MW on a woodcut;
  6. Hot water boiler house (DHW) with a heat output of 35 MW on a wood chip (two boilers with a heat capacity of 15−20 MW each, successive construction and commissioning of boilers);
  7. Hot water boiler (DHW) with a heat output of 35 MW on straw pellets;
  8. Hot water boiler house (DHW) with a capacity of 35 MW on straw pellets (two boilers with a heat capacity of 15−20 MW each, successive construction and commissioning of boilers).
