Company foundation

Beginning. The first international project in district heating for entrepreneurs Dmytro Osypov and Ruslan Delidon was the beginning of the foundation of their own company — Pro-Energy. In August of the same year, they began their journey to leading positions in engineering and consulting services in renewable energy and energy efficiency in Ukraine. The first strategic partnerships were concluded during this period. Pro-Energy became the exclusive representative of such companies as HoSt Bioenergy Systems (Netherlands) and Brunata OOD (Bulgaria) on the Ukrainian market.

First EBRD accreditation

This year, the company confirmed its qualifications and reliability by receiving the status of EBRD accredited consultant on renewable energy issues.

First international projects

For the first time, we became participants in several international infrastructure projects in the District Heating field. These projects were implemented with the financing of the international financial organization NEFCO.

Investments in “green” energy

We made a strategic decision to invest in renewable energy projects in Ukraine. As part of this, we started the development of our three investment projects (SPP, Biogas Plant, Biomass CHP).

EBRD project

In 2018, together with our partner Dalsia Brunata, we successfully won a tender for the production, supply, installation and commissioning of 76 Individual Heatig Substatins for the district heating company in Zhytomyr City. Financing was provided through grant funds from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.

Own investment project has been commissioned

As part of joint investments in “green” energy, a solar power plant with an installed capacity of 8.9 MW*e was put into operation in the Kyiv region. The partners of this project were Norsk Solar AS (Norway) and WindFors (Sri Lanka). Financing was obtained from the international financial organization NEFCO.

Construction of the first biogas plants

Pro-Energy started the implementation of 2 projects as a General Contractor for the construction of biogas plants based on the technology of HoSt Biogas B.V. for the production of electric energy with a capacity of 3.12 MW*e each.

We “got the first biogas” and preparation for biomethane

Despite the beginning of a full-scale invasion, this year we successfully completed our first project on the construction of a biogas complex with an electrical capacity of 3.12 MW*e in the Chernihiv region. Further, the first contracts for the implementation of three biomethane projects in Ukraine were signed.

Active position in the industry

We have always been interested in the development of bioenergy technologies. This year, we decided to join forces with other market participants and became members of the Bioenergy Association of Ukraine and the European-Ukrainian Energy Agency. Also this year, we started the active phase of developing a portfolio of our own biomethane investment projects.

Ruslan Delidon

Director. One of the founders, shareholder and managing partner of the company.

Over 15 years of experience in the field of renewable energy and energy efficiency in Ukraine.

Candidate of physical and mathematical sciences, majoring in “Metallophysics”.

One of the initiators of the creation of the Dutch-Ukrainian Sustainable Energy Platform (NUSEP) in 2008, an international project that attracted funding from the Dutch government.

Since 2009, he was the project manager of NUSEP and was responsible for establishing contacts between Ukrainian project owners and potential Dutch partners.

He has extensive knowledge and contacts with major players in the renewable energy market in Ukraine and Western Europe.

Dmytro Osypov

One of the founders of company and shareholder

Over 20 years of practical experience in managing companies and projects. He has practical skills in financial auditing and accounting in accordance with international financial reporting standards.

Area of responsibility — design, technological, financial and construction audit.

Specialization by education — molecular biology and genetics, KNU.

Experience in creating and managing companies from various industries: food industry, car service, cable data transmission networks, implementation of Internet communications and technologies, as well as production of portable, server and computer equipment.

Oleg Zagorodniuk

Company shareholder

Over 20 years of top management experience in Ukraine and the USA.

Practical experience in project development and business scaling.

Specializes in equipment and technologies in the field of biomass burning for small and large-capacity boilers, as well as thermal power plants. He has deep knowledge of the market of energy-saving technologies and alternative energy sources, including economic and legal risks in the implementation of projects.

Responsible for communication with strategic partners and clients.

Syrit College of Technology NY (USA) with a degree in Software Engineering (Systems/360). Chubb Institute in New York with a degree in administration and management.

He worked at the PaineWeber brokerage company and at the New York Central Office of UBS Bank (Switzerland) as Vice President of the Securities Reporting Department under the regulations of the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC Regulation 15c3-3).
