Inquiry

The client’s logistics complex is one of the key facilities in the region’s supply chain infrastructure. Faced with the constant risk of power cuts, the client required a solution that would guarantee the uninterrupted operation of its warehouses, engineering systems and logistics processes, regardless of the status of the external power grid.

The main objective was to create an energy-independent system capable of supplying the facility with electricity and heat year-round, reducing energy costs and laying the foundation for the further development of its local energy network.

Conclusion

During the project, the Pro-Energy team faced two major challenges. The first was the limited space available for installing the equipment. To address this, we enlisted the help of engineers from the 2G plant in Germany, who developed bespoke layout solutions tailored to the specific site. The second challenge was carrying out installation work at an operational logistics facility without the option of prolonged shutdowns. Some of the work was carried out at night, with the facility temporarily switched to backup power.

As a result, the client has been provided with a fully autonomous power source that ensures the complex operates continuously, regardless of the situation in the country’s power grid.

The system meets 100% of the facility’s electricity and heating requirements, enables a significant reduction in energy costs, and lays the foundations for the future implementation of a smart microgrid comprising a solar power plant, batteries and backup generators.
